A new study has revealed the value that one in three Brits would place on their garden shed.
According to a study by SAGA, one in three Brits would love to have a shed to relax or be creative in.
More than half of all Brits own a shed (57 per cent) and more than one in four shed owners (28 per cent) have bought or built a new shed since they moved into their property, the study found.
Feng Shui 'doctor' Paul Darby said: "Although many people still use their sheds simply as a storage facility, this study shows there are promising signs and statistics showing that more people are now beginning to see their true potential.
"By positioning them in the right location for a specific purpose, they can make the most of their garden hideaways and turn them into something special. My advice is to make your shed accessible, warm and comfy, especially now that we are in the run up to winter, so it can be enjoyed all year round!" he advised.
For many people, obtaining a home improvement loan is an excellent way to release the capital to make improvements to your property.
